Poland wants to have hundreds of electric buses in 2-3 years

Radio Praha reports that March 31st is the last day of CZK50 banknote (EUR1.85), and the last day to change the banknote, and – as the Czech National Bank -reminds, there are still 11.6 million such banknotes (CZK581m, or EUR21m) in circulation.

Changing banknotes is free of charge. The decision to withdraw the CZK50 banknote from circulation was made in April 2011.

Poland

Hundreds of electric busses should be on Polish streets within 2-3 years. Then the number should increase to a few thousands, as the Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin said during his visit in the Ursus tractor factory in Lublin.

The Polish Radio recalls that in February Polish government announced its plan to “rapidly develop electric powered road transport”, especially in big cities such as Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan and Krakow.

Bulgaria

Novinite.com reports that Bulgarian households will pay higher electricity bills from April 1st, 2017. The price will increase by nearly 1 per cent and it was approved by the Bulgarian regulator – Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).

Also business clients will be affected “due to a nearly 3.5 per cent increase in the public obligation component, from BGN35.77/ MWh to BGN37.02/MWh.”
