Council of Ministers of BiH adopts 2018-2020 Economic Reform Program

The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted BiH’s Economic Reform Program (ERP) for 2018-2020 that defines the mid-term macroeconomic and fiscal framework, including fiscal measures, and a comprehensive structural reform program aimed at improving the country’s growth and competitiveness, according to a press release. The new ERP proposes measures for strengthening and enhancing the cooperation between the state and the entities in the joint implementation of reforms in the areas of public finances, transport market, agriculture, forestry and water management, business environment and reduction of grey economy as well as for securing better connection between labor market and education. The state level remains committed to reforms in the area of trade and investments, while the entities will work together to reduce labor burden and improve the health sector. The new ERP shall be forwarded to the EC by the end of January, the press release reads.
