Macedonia to sign EUR26.2m loan with World Bank

The government will sign a EUR26.2m loan from the World Bank to improve transport efficiency to reduce the costs of trade in turn, the Finance Ministry said in a statement. The loan has a repayment period of 12 years and a four-year grace period. The loan is part of a regional project, aimed at easing trade and improving the efficiency of transportation in the Western Balkans. The project’s main goal is to improve connectivity and economic integration in the region.
