The Montenegrin government has signed a EUR6m loan with the World Bank, the state TV reported on Monday. The 15-year loan was signed by Finance Minister Darko Radunovic and the World Bank country manager for Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina Emanuel Salinas. The interest rate on the loan equals the six-month EURIBOR plus the fixed interest margin, which is not expected to be greater than 0.85%. It comes with a five-year grace period and its repayment will be on semi-annual basis. The loan proceeds will be used for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in health facilities. The measures aim to benefit up to 220,000 potential patients and around 2,000 staff members.
