Poland to decide on OSII buffers for banks in October – regulator

Polish financial Supervision Authority (KNF) will set capital buffers for other systemically important institutions (OSII) in October, KNF head of communications Jacek Barszczewski told PAP. “The decision-making process should be completed in October,” Barszczewski said.

At end-July 2018 KNF identified 11 banks as OSII and decided to impose buffers on 10 of them. The buffers for banks range from 0.25% to 1%.
