Poland’s ESI sentiment indicator edges down to 97.7 pts in September

Polish corporate sentiment deteriorated slightly in September, with the European Commission’s ESI measure down to 97.7 points from 98.4 points in August, a statement from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Financial and Economic Affairs (DG EcFin) showed.

The ESI level of 100 points represents a long-term average (as of 1990).

Sentiment in industry also deteriorated slightly to negative 11.8 points from negative 11.3 points in August, DG EcFin indicated.
