Poland’s unemployment rate at end-Oct. hits 8.2%

In September, according to the Polish Statistics Office GUS it was 8.3%. Poland won’t see unemployment rate growth as a result of conclusion of seasonal works, as the situation on the labor market continues to improve, Labor Minister Elzbieta Rafalska said as cited in a press statement.

“The situation on the labor market is improving and nothing suggests that the end of seasonal works were to cause a spike in unemployment,” Rafalska said.
