Polish consumer moods pick up visibly in November

Polish consumer sentiment improved significantly in November, with most leading and current indicators several percentage points higher than a month ago, a Central Statistics Office (GUS) survey showed. 

The current confidence indicator gained 5.5 pps m/m to -3.9 pts in November, although the major purchases indicator slipped 0.7 pps to -4.0 pts.

The leading confidence indicator improved by 6.7 pps to -8.3 points, and the job outlook indicator jumped 10.1 pps to -10.0 pts.
